WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from Calyx Collective LLC, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

CONSENT

How do you get my consent?   When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

WOOCOMMERCE & WORDPRESS

Our store is hosted on  WordPress & Woocommerce. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. We store your data on a secure server behind a firewall with updated security, and encrypt your connection via SSL.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. SECURITY

-utma / utmb / utmc / utmt / utmz / ga / gat / gid = Google Analytics: Gathers information that helps us understand how visitors interact with our websites, which allow us to create a better experience for our visitors. Our users may also implement Google Analytics on their own websites.

_gali is used by Google Analytics to determine which links on a page that are being clicked.

-tk_*r: Referral cookies used to analyse referrer behavior for Jetpack connected sites using WooCommerce.

-PHPSESSID: PHP sessions is an alternative to the standard cookie approach. It’s still a cookie, but it’s called PHPSESSID and is typically stored in the /tmp/ directory on the web server itself. Calyx Collective LLC may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. Calyx Collective LLC may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Calyx Collective LLC does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. Google Analytics is used for statistical analysis of Calyx Collective LLC website traffic.

WHO WE SHARE USER DATA WITH:

Calyx Collective LLC may share user data with the payment provider to process the payment (Braintree Paypal Payment gateway). Shipping extensions used may share data with shipping providers to calculate shipping rates or print shipping labels during the WooCommerce checkout process.

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA:

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Google Analytics cookies are retained at varying timeframes per Google's Privacy Policy:

WHO ON OUR TEAM HAS ACCESS:
Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:

Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and

Our small team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.

PAYMENTS:

We accept payments through PayPal and Elavon. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal or Elavon respectively, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

If you create, submit, import, save, or publish Event, Venue, or Organizer information, such information is retained in the local database:

Venue information: name, address, city, country, state, postal code, phone, website, geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude)
Organizer information: name, phone, website, email
Event information: website, cost, description, date, time, image
Importing Events, Venues, and Organizers:
All data present within a CSV or ICS file and external URLs (for events, venues, organizers, and tickets)
Import origin data (URL from where events are being imported—such as Eventbrite, MeetUp, other compatible URL sources, and more, which can include similar or same data as listed above)
Eventbrite Ticket information: name, description, cost, type, quantity
Please note that to create new events through the Community Events submission form, a user must hold a website account on this domain. This information is retained in the local database. It is also possible to create events anonymously, if the site owner has this option enabled.
